Finally finished penciling my graphic novel --clocking in with a final page count of 208!

And so now I gotta ink all that shit, but to me, the "hard" part is done, and I'm pretty glad to have reached this little milestone.

So this year, my resolution/goal/whatever is to finish my graphic novel, EGYPTIAN SHUMBA.

I spent the month of November in NYC finishing the script (amongst other things of course), and now it's just a matter of getting the comic pages done. As of today, I got about 90 page penciled --which means there's still a lot of work to be done, but progress is being made.

If you wanna get to know the characters and want some cool/shitty mini-comic/zine stuff drop me an email  --I'll let you know what's available.

For the month of October I'll be doing mostly zombie versions for my daily Marvel sketchbook, so if yer a fan you might wanna check it out (and like, tell yer friends dude).

And that's about it. I'm nursing a medium-hangover at the moment, but I'm feeling pretty good about it: coffee and water for now, food in a minute, Brewers baseball and Packers football in a few hours!

PS - I'm done being a little bitch (see previous journal), EGYPTIAN SHUMBA (my 'graphic novel') is back in action! Still won't be out til forever, but...

I have a condition.

It's called BEING-A-LITTLE-BITCH.  

And it always happens this time of year --when my allergies get so bad that even if I take medicine I'm still blowing my nose, sneezing, or feeling like I have to sneeze (which is the worst) all day, every day.  

And because of this I can't sit down and draw. It takes away all my motivation and ruins my concentration.  I don't get any work done cause every two minutes I gotta run for some goddamn kleenex!

Stupid idiot asshole allergies.

Anyways, I wish I wasn't such a puss, but I can't wait to explode with some new shit once they start dying down.  

My main project is still the Night Light Comics graphic novel: EGYPTIAN SHUMBA, but I'm gonna start getting some cool character pin-up prints going too.  So if yer reading this and got someone you wanna see me tackle, lemme know --I'm open to suggestions.
